As a trustee of the Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County, Greg worked with the team who helped conceive, design and build this iconic health care system. At its core, the hospital was built with the patient in mind.
Greg was an integral part of creating the city’s most accessible hospital. Procedure rooms, work stations, patient rooms and public spaces allow all patients and their health-care advocates ease of movement during their stay. Guests, staff members and vendors also experience barrier-free movement during their visits.
Eskenazi Health values its many educational alliances, including its partnership with Ball State University’s Disability Project to offer internships to students with disabilities. Through this partnership came the concept for the Eskenazi Health Initiative for Empowerment and Independence, which provides professional development, employment resources and recruitment of qualified individuals with disabilities.
